What is a Student Initiative?

SGA sets aside contingency funds from the budget each semester. Controlled by the Senate, these funds are available for any student wishing to fund an event or project that will positively impact the student body. Students may present proposals to the Senate to receive funding for these initiatives. The Senate then votes to pass or deny the proposal based on how well it meets the mission of SGA.
