SGA Scholarship

The SGA Scholarship is a fund that is renewed each semester by the authority of the SGA Senate. Awarded conjointly by the SGA Scholarship Committee and the SGA Executive Board, this scholarship looks for student candidates who have a strong understanding of the Biola community and what it means to live "All as One." We are looking for applicants who strive to make a lasting impact in the community.

This year, we are able to award up to twelve students with $1,000 each towards their Fall 2018 tuition.

Applications are due at 11:59 p.m. on March 5, 2018.

Please see the following list of eligibility qualifications:

  • Only current and continuing students may be awarded. Students of all need levels are considered eligible.
  • Members of SGA, full-time employees of Biola University, and students with 100% dependent tuition waivers are not eligible for the scholarship.
  • If awarded, this scholarship will be first applied to any outstanding charges on your student account, such as tuition, class fees, room, board, insurance, and past-due balances. Questions regarding refunds and student accounts should be directed to the Office of Accounting.
  • The scholarship may be renewable if funds are available. Students must re-apply each year.
  • Applicants must have a reviewed FAFSA on file with the Financial Aid Office for the 2017-2018 school year to be considered for this scholarship.
